how to remove the oil filter of mitsubishi outlander 2010 v6?

i want to know how to remove the oil filter of mitsubishi outlander 2010 V6 LS model..is it CLOCKWISE OR COUNTER CLOCKWISE...thanks a lot.
right now that i can't remove the filter..it is K&N Performance Oil Filter HP-1010..i tried my best counter

Loosening any "Normal" screw type fastener (including oil filters) is always going to be Counter-Clockwise.

Only special screws are reverse thread

The EUR550m (US$718m) plant inaugurated in 2010 allows for local assembly of the Peugeot 308, 4007, Citroën C4, C-Crosser and the Mitsubishi Outlander. The plant's full capacity will be 125,000 vehicles per year, with production of the Peugeot and Citroën C-segment cars amounting to 85,000 models and the remaining 40,000, for Mitsubishi SUVs. PCMA-Rus is a joint venture between PSA Peugeot Citroen (70%) and Mitsubishi Motors (30%) in the Kaluga region of Russia, some 100 miles south west of the capital. The second largest market in Europe, Russia is considered by PSA and Mitsubishi as one of the key regions for long-term business development. j-a: Can you identify any model trends in Russia at the moment you can capitalise on. 2010 Mitsubishi Outlander: Lookin' Good

Mitsu's good design is helped by the fact I'm not tall and I like to drive a little more upright than most so those B pillars end up being farther behind me. I have to agree with Erin that the transmission is in hunt mode when driving the grades. When driving the Outlander, I felt the design lent itself to great visibility. The Outlander has a fairly upright driving position and has a tall greenhouse. The constant wheezie seesawing between gears was too much for me. Luckily our Outlander has nice paddle shifters to help you out with Manual Mode. This past weekend was the first time I've driven our Outlander....
